I do not want to hear of another program about “decluttering” – I have banned Clean Sweep and How Clean is Your House and all those others. I have purged my home of every magazine with headlines screaming about Decluttering and Organizing!!!
I do not want to live in a decluttered, sterile atmosphere. My clutter is me. My personal touches, mementos and souvenirs may look messy but I love it. There are several small vignettes, I feel tastefully displayed and occasionally lit up with little twinkle lights and they make me HAPPY!
I may be a little messy, but then so is my life. And yes there’s a good deal of dust, makes me think of heaven and fluffy clouds. Seriously, I keep a fairly clean house but there are dust bunnies and perhaps a few dishes in the sink but my friends are always welcome.
