MY LAUNDRY PRAYERS
As I sort into piles,
I ask God’s help in prioritizing my life and to keep Him first. When washing
the towels, I pray for daily renewal for myself and family and His blanket of
coverage over us. With pants, choices made, the paths taken; shirts –
protection, coverage of safety, friends, peers and future mates. Working on
stains, I offer a prayer of repentance, seek forgiveness and ask to be white as
snow! Tossing in the softener, I pray God will soften my words and keep my
heart tender. Detergent reminds me to petition for extra strength, wisdom and
clean thoughts. When I turn the dial to hot – I am reminded to pray that I
learn lessons quickly as God purifies me through trials. (carries into my
ironing too!)
